Well as it is turning out the Swine Flu has turned out to be a pussy cat with no more to it than the normal seasonal flu.  Schools in the Corpus Christi, Texas area were to be closed until May 15th, but today it was announced that everything goes back to normal and school will resume as usual on Thursday.  The CDC sent out the word that the closure of schools is no longer necessary.  Students of course were bummed because they were looking forward to the vacation before summer vacation.

Sunday night and I am tired

For the last 11 years I have produced Christian concerts and events as director of For Him Ministries.  Yesterday we held another Church Without Walls event in Mathis and at the end of the evening as I was pulling our sound equipment trailer home I realized something.  I realized that I am out of shape and I am also getting old.  At the young age of 57 it is a lot harder on the old muscles and bones than it used to be.  Nonetheless I thank God that I am still able to serve Him and to continue...

A long but awesome day

I am going to take a break a break from all of my ranting and raving about the Swine Flu and the media.  Today as in everyday I am so thankful for my life, my family, and more than anything my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  In an hour I am going to the For Him Ministries location and begin to get ready for an awesome day of praise and worship.

And you guys thought I was crazy.  I was even accused of being a conspiracy theorist.  (Who me!)  Every since the Swine Flu scare started I said that this was no more serious than the normal seasonal flu and that the media was creating a panic.  Well here a recent article from Google News writer Mike Stobbe.

It's too bad that we (as a nation or as a world) don't get so alarmed over all of the babies that are murdered via abortion as we do about a flu virus.

Tamiflu shelf life expiring

I've been doing some research on the Tamiflu vaccine and guess what?  Roche Laboratories, the makers of Tamiflu, says that Tamiflu has a shelf life of 36 months.

Now check this out:
  • May 2006 the Bird Flu pandemic scare (bogus)
  • The government stockpiles 50 million doses of Tamiflu (shelf life 36 hours)
  • April 2009 the Bird Flu pandemic scare (36 months later)
  • April 2009 government frees up Tamiflu supply for fighting Swine Flu (just as Tamiflu shelf life expires)

Here we go again!

Big Brother and Big Pharma have joined together once again to stimulate the sale of "Flu Vaccine" (poison for the people) by using the media to begin to create a panic over the Swine Flu.  Talk of a pandemic arises once again I.e. the Bird Flu.
